Charles Akwani enstooled Fomena Gyaasehene
A businessman and resident of Kumasi, Mr. Charles Akwani has been enstooled as the Gyaasehene in the Adansi Fomena Palace in the Adansi North District.

He swore the oath of allegiance with the stool name Baffour Mireku IV.
Mr. Charles Akwani swore the oath of allegiance to the Adansihene that his service will be a continuation of the good services of his predecessors and that, he will be truthful and quick in responding to the Adansihene’s call as he added that, " If I refuse to acknowledge the call of Adansihene, it will mean I have defied the oath"
Presiding over the ceremony, the Adansihene, Opegyak)twere Bonsra Afriyie II said the Gyaase stool is of great importance due to the responsibilities and role the Gyaasehene plays in the Palace.
He then advised the Gyaasehene not to be self-centered but rather protect the properties of his ancestors and unite the Gyaase family.
Nananom present at the ceremony advised the Gyaasehene to be patient in serving the Gyaase stool and the Adansihene and also to continue the good deeds of his predecessors and make good service his hallmark.
