Madam Emilia Ankoma is a step closer to becoming the Municipal Chief Executive of the Upper Denkyira East Municipal Assembly following her appointment by the president.

Madam Emilia Ankoma is a step closer to becoming the Municipal Chief Executive of the Upper Denkyira East Municipal Assembly following her appointment by the president.

As required by law, her nomination has to be approved by a two-third majority of the assembly members.

The MCE position became vacant somewhere in July when the incumbent MCE, Peter Kofi Osei Ashia was relieved of his position.
