U DENKYIRA E :Assembly completes over 22 education projects
The Education sector in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality in the Central region has witnessed remarkable improvement with the construction of over 22 new structures for various educational institutions, municipal chief Executive, Peter Kofi Owusu-Ashia Junior has disclosed.

The Education sector in the Upper Denkyira East Municipality in the Central region has witnessed remarkable improvement with the construction of over 22 new structures for various educational institutions, municipal chief Executive, Peter Kofi Owusu-Ashia Junior has disclosed.
According to the MCE, the replacement of schools under trees with modern classroom blocks, a project carried by the government through the Ghana Education Trust Fund leads the chart as several schools were provided with six unit classroom blocks.
Among the beneficiary schools are Dunkwa Boamponsem Primary, Dunkwa-Kyeremsem Primary, Yirete, Otengkrong, Zion No 2, Kramokrom and Mfantseman Primary among several other schools.
Additionally, the assembly augmented government efforts with the provision of a number of three unit blocks at Meretweso, Kyekyewere, Dunkwa Boamponsem, Mempeasem, Zion Camp.
The MCE said they are committed to the education of their citizens and make the necessary investment to push that agenda forward.
