NSAWAM:NGO donates ambulance to Nsawam Hospital

Nana Obuobi Aduamah III, Osiahene, Kingmaker of Akuapem Anaafoo in the Eastern Region has donated an ambulance valued at GH¢60,000 to Nsawam Government Hospital.
Nana Obuobi Aduamah, who is also the Founder and Chairman of Stitching King in Ghana, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), said the ambulance was his contribution to support the hospital’s ability to perform its normal duties and the handling of accidents victims in order to save lives.
In an interview with Ghana News Agency at Nsawam, he expressed gratitude to the board members of Stitching King in Ghana and Veiligheids Regio, Rotterdam and Mr Rein van Duvvenbode and his colleagues for their contribution to transport the ambulance to Ghana.
Nana Aduamah said he has for the past two years constructed a clinic at Adamorebe near Aburi, toilet facilities and a school structure at Adipah.
He has also provided a six-classroom block to Coaltar community.
Receiving the keys of the ambulance, Mr Mark Amoako Dompreh, Nsawam- Adoagyiri Municipal Chief Executive and Dr Kofi Ablorh, Municipal Medical Superintendent thanked Nana Aduamah for the ambulance.
They called on other chiefs, NGOs, philanthropists and other organisations to come to the aid of the hospital.
