The Presiding Member for the Akuapim South Municipality in the Eastern Region, Hon. William Kotey Neequaye has on behalf of the Assembly welcomed newly admitted pupils into Kindergarten (KG) in basic schools in area.

The ceremony dubbed “My First Day at School” is a programme held annually during the first day beginning a new academic year to ursher in children into Kindergarten and those who have been promoted to primary one (1).

The Presiding Member, Hon Neequaye who was escorted by some heads of departments visited the Pakro Presby primary, KG school, Obosono Primary LA primary, Otukwadwo LA primary schools among others.

Toffees, biscuits, erasers, pencils, cups, and exercise books were distributed to the kids.
