Residence of Agona in the Ahanta West District has benefited from a new water filtration plant to enhance potable supply in the area.

The project was financed by Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) and supported by the District Assembly through its common fund.

However a document available to Ghanadistricts.com, indicates that the project which is a first in kind in the area is duly been completed and in use to ensure its intended purpose.

In other related developments, the assembly has also completed works on a new school block and  sanitary facility at Adjua to improve teaching and learning and sanitation in the area.
