Residents of Mpanyinasa Electoral area in the Ahanta West District are calling for assistance from the Assembly and other public spirited individuals to support them complete the community centre which has been stalled.

According to the Assembly man, Hon. Kwesi Asobenya Buah the project was started by the former New Patriotic Party, Member of Parliament for Ahanta West, Samuel Johnfia but since he lost his seat in the 2012 December election, the project has come to a halt.

Speaking to Ghanamps.gov.gh, Hon. Buah stated that the current situation where the community has no officials rallying point has negatively affected the social cohesion of the people, as the area needs a common place for holding social events.

He called on the new MP for the area, Hon. George Aboagye to come to their aid and complete the project even though he did not initiate it.

Hon. Kwesi Asobenya Buah further lamented and bemoaned the absence of toilets and adequate borehole facilities in the area, a situation he described as very unfortunate as it could impact negatively on the health of the residents.

He said the people would gratefully welcome support from any individual or institution.
