About 200 persons in the Ahanta West District have successfully completed training under the Youth Enterprises and Skills Development Programme (YESDEP).

Programmes undertaken by the beneficiaries include tailoring, dressmaking, hairdressing, and barbering among others.

However trainees are also expected to receive start-up kits where they will have to pay on installment bases after of eight weeks operating. 

The Western Regional Coordinator of YESDEP Eric Kofi Hope said Centre is more 3,000 people under the programme before the end of this year.
