The Ahanta West District Assembly in the Western Region has procured a new refuse collection truck as part of efforts to assist the refuse collection in the area.

The District Chief Executive, Joseph Dofoyena who made this known to Ghanadistricts.com further indicated that the truck was procured through the District Assembly’s Common Fund (DACF). 

The truck is expected to collect rubbish from various dumping sites to ensure that the assembly meets its objective of improving sanitation in the area.

However on educational issues, the assembly has also constructed a 3-unit classroom block at Yakor, a suburb community to improve teaching and learning in the area.
