He acknowledged that though times are hard in the country, parents and guardians should go the extra mile to educate their wards to the highest level.

Hon. The DCE expressed concerns about the School Feeding Programme in the district and was particularly unhappy that out of the over thirty communities in the district, currently the programme is on-going in only three ommunities that is in  Mamponteng, Antoa and Adanwomase.

He assured the chiefs and people in the communities that his administration will do all within its means to see to the spread of the programme in at least half the number of the communities.

For his part the District Education Director, Rev. J.H. Offosuhene appealed to parents to assist teachers in their effort of raising the fallen standards of teaching and learning in the district. He added that teachers in the district are being motivated well to give off their best, thus, the need for parents and guardians to do their best.

The chief of Kenyase, Barimah Owusu Agyeman appealed to the District Chief Executive to assist them in completing a number of projects that they have already started on their own.
