The project is funded by the municipal assembly as part of its plans to promote a conducive learning environment for school children in the community.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak advised parents to prioritize education of their wards. He added that parents must always communicate with teachers to know the performance of their kids at school.

The MP further called on all especially the youth to ensure peace within the municipality as we await the December polls.

The MCE, Alhaji Nurudeen Hamidan lauded the Member of Parliament for his immense support to the development of the Municipal Assembly. He also tasked students to take their studies seriously to become great future leaders.

Hon. Nurudeen Hamidan also promised that work on the Buoban M/A school will soon be ready for commissioning. He seized the opportunity to reiterate on the projects the assembly has done so far saying the assembly has achieved a lot in terms of education, health, security and sanitation.

The Municipal Education Director, Madam Monica Ankrah urged teachers to give the best of training at school. She also tasked parents to take responsibility of helping their wards with their studies at home.
 
The program was attended by traditional rulers, religious leaders, teachers and students of the school and staff of the assembly.
