7km Sekyedumase-Appaaso road receives attention

As part of efforts to promote easy and efficient movement of people, goods and services, the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipal Assembly is opening/reshaping a 7km feeder road from Sekyedumase to Appaaso, a farming community.

In an interview with some residents and teachers of the community, they indicated that work on the road to make it motorable is a huge relief to them.

The community is a major maize producer in the municipality, contributing about 30% of the total maize volume in the Sekyedumase zone.

According to them, this will not only increase their income, but will also reduce maternal mortality and increase contact hours with pupil.
