EJURA: Nkwanta to get potable drinking water

The Municipal Chief Executive of Ejura Sekyedumase, Alhaji Salisu Bamba through his water project initiative has broken the grounds for work to commence on the construction of water projects for the people of Nkwanta.

The MCE addressing the media noted that one of the biggest challenges in the community is access to potable water and that the completion of the project will be a great relief to him and the community.

He further explained that over 1000 residents in the area and other nearby communities will benefit from the water and would also help prevent an outbreak of water-borne diseases.

Alhaji Bamba indicated that several such projects have been provided in some parts of the Municipality to ensure that the people get a better share of the National cake.

The people commended the MCE and called on other corporate bodies to help the Assembly to enhance the leaving condition of the people of Nkwanta.
