ASOKORE: NBU Project organizes workshop for assembly members

The No Business as Usual (NBU) Project has organized a two-day workshop for the new Assembly members of Asokore Mampong Municipal to prepare them on their mandate and expose them to their duties as Assembly members at the NBU Hub.

The workshop was centered on the concept of decentralization and local governance in Ghana. The Local government Act. (Act 936) was thoroughly discussed with the participants.

Members understanding and appreciation of decentralization, local governance and how the assembly functions were further deepened.

They were also energized and revitalized to carry out their duties diligently after the workshop.

The organizers of the workshop promised to continue to roll out many interventions to ensure local economic development within the Municipality.
