NBU 2018 trainees at Asokore Mampong successfully graduate

No Business as Usual (NBU), an European Union Funded Project to empower the Youth have successful enrolled 2018 batch of trainees in the area of Core Life Skills and Employability in the Asokore Mampong Municipality.

Madam Esther Matey the project coordinator speaking at the graduation ceremony said, 40 of the trainees were part of a Gamma category whiles 83 and 35 were categorized under Beta and Alpha respectively.

She added that the NBU project which is scheduled to cover a period of four years is currently in its second year and hope to train 500 youths within the municipality to curb unemployment.

Mr. Usman Morro, the Assistant Coordinating Director for Asokore Mampong Municipal also stated that the project has advanced the development of the municipality and challenged trainees to utilize the skills and knowledge acquired.
