Asokore Mampong Assembly presents cheques to PWDs

The Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly has disbursed cheques to support persons with disabilities (PWDs) through its share of the District Assemblies Disabilities Common Fund.

The Minicipal Chief Executive Mr. Ben Abdallah Alhassan noted that the fund, derived from 3% of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF), represents a deliberate and impactful step towards uplifting t less privileged and differently-abled citizens. It is designed to address critical needs, including: clearing medical bills, providing vital start-up capital, supporting educational pursuits, easing the daily burdens faced by our community members cte.


The MCE encouraged PWDs to refrain from begging on the streets. Instead, she urged them to harness their God-given talents and engage in productive ventures to earn a meaningful living.
