ASOKORE: Access Bank Ghana donates food items and PPEs to Assembly

The Access Bank Ghana has donated Personal Protective Equipment to the Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly towards the fight against the deadly Coronavirus disease.

Large quantities of food items such as rice, milk, tomato paste, flour, beans, maize, mackerel and vegetable oil were also given to the Assembly to be distributed to the vulnerable and the poor household within the municipality.

The head of the Ashanti regional retail banking for Access Bank noted that the donation forms part of their co-operate responsibility and to create a friendly business atmosphere with the general public.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Alhaji Alidu Seidu expressed his profound gratitude to the leadership of the Bank and commended them for remembering the municipality in such hard times.

He indicated that Access Bank Ghana is the only institution that has come to their aid in this COVID-19 season and urged other institutions to follow their footsteps.
