Amansie West Area Council inaugurated

The District Chief Executive of Amansie West District, Ollenu Nii Larteh has inaugurated Seven (7) Area Councils within the Amansie West District Assembly with a call on members to monitor contractors executing projects to ensure that quality work is done.

Those inaugurated included: Abore, Atwere, Antoakrom, Ahwerewah, Essouwin, Mpatuam, and Manso Nkwanta Area Councils.

The DCE who underscored the many success of the current government, encouraged the members to work in collaboration with the Chiefs and elders to improve the living conditions of the people.

He said the strengthening of the sub-district structures and involvement of rural people in developing their communities were strategies being pursued by the government to achieve accelerated development in the rural area.

At the ceremony, each member was presented with a tricycle (Aboboyaa), Desktop Computer, and PA Systems to aid them in the discharge of their duties.
