Assembly hands over 3-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities for Birem R/C JHS

The District Chief Executive for Sekyere Central Benjamin Kingsley Koduah has commissioned and handed over a fully furnished 3-unit classroom block with its other ancillary facilities, including an office space, store, and a 4-seater KVIP toilet to the Birem Roman Catholic JHS.

Addressing the gathering the DCE underscored the importance of the project towards the enhancement of the academic life of students of the school.

He indicated that the District Assembly under his tenure has prioritized three major economic sectors, which were Education, Health, and Agriculture and explained that the District Assembly continues to ensure the improvement of these sectors through the implementation of development-centered programmes and projects aimed at improving the living standards of members of the community.

The DCE also ceased the opportunity to inform community members of pending projects that were soon to be rolled out.

They included the improvement of roads to the Afram plains areas of the District under the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP) as well as the rural electrification programme which would see the connection of communities without electricity to the National Grid and further assured members of the full implementation of these programmes soon.

Nananom expressed their profound gratitude to the DCE and the Assembly as well as the Member of Parliament for their numerous interventions and projects in the community.

They indicated that their prompt responses to some of their major concerns have helped address some of their most challenging issues as a people and also expressed hope in the fulfillment of the pledge of the DCE towards the construction of the roads and connection of electricity to the communities soon.
