Nyagbo Gagbefe Community Celebrates Completion of New KG Classroom Block

The educational facility was initiated by the Paramount Chief of the Nyagbo Traditional Area, Torgbui Ashuigbagla Nyagasi V, with the support of the Queen Mother of the Nyagbo Traditional Area, Dzedze Nyagasiwa III. The project was fully financed by the elders of the Nyagbo community as part of their commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure and promoting the welfare of children.
The new classroom block is expected to provide a safe, comfortable, and child-friendly learning environment for kindergarten pupils while easing congestion and improving teaching and learning at the early childhood level.
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Afadzato South, Hon. Manfred Tawiah, commended the traditional authorities and the elders of Nyagbo for their commitment to improving education through community-led initiatives. He described the completion of the classroom block as a worthy investment in the future of the district's children and an example of how collaboration between traditional leaders and local communities can accelerate development.
Hon. Tawiah noted that the Assembly remains committed to partnering with traditional authorities, development partners, and community stakeholders to improve educational infrastructure and ensure that every child has access to a conducive environment for learning. He urged residents to take good care of the facility to enable future generations to benefit from it.
Residents have lauded the traditional leadership for the initiative, describing the project as a timely intervention that demonstrates the community's collective commitment to investing in the education and future of its younger generation.
They expressed profound appreciation to Torgbui Ashuigbagla Nyagasi V, Queen Mother Dzedze Nyagasiwa III, and the elders of the Nyagbo Traditional Area for their visionary leadership and dedication to community development.
The completion of the facility underscores the important role traditional authorities continue to play in complementing government efforts to improve educational infrastructure and ensuring that every child has access to quality education in a safe and conducive learning environment.
