Regional Minister graces Homowo Festival Rites 2023

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey on Thursday, June 22, 2023 joined the chiefs and people of the Nungua Traditional Area as the special guest of honour at the 2023 Nungua Kplejoo Nnshorbulemor Homowo Festival Rites at Nungua Landing Beach.

The Event, sponsored by Municipal Chief Executive of Krowor, Joshua Nii Bortey on behalf of Management and Staff of the Krowor Municipal Assembly was hosted by Oboade Notse King Prof. Odaifio Welentse III, Paramount Chief of the Nungua Traditional Council and the Vice President of the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs and Wor-Konor Nuumo Borketey Larweh Tsuru XXX1111, Gborbu Wolomo and Overlord of the GaDangbe State.

The Regional Minister in his address said there are too many differences among the Ga Dangme. “Today we are witnessing differences; Ga Dangme aren’t that much but we have been divided”.

He therefore used the occasion to call for unity among the people to ensure speedy and sustainable development of the GaDangbe State.
