Upper Denkyira East holds Town Hall meeting

Management of the Upper Denkyira East Municipal Assembly has held a town hall meeting to account for their stewardship and management of the public resources that have been entrusted into their care by the people.

The meeting, which was organized at the Church of Pentecost, Dunkwa Central, afforded various departmental heads of the Assembly to brief residents with relevant information regarding development in their communities.

Stakeholders were also given the opportunity to ask questions regarding management of public resources and demand answers.


Addressing the stakeholders at the event, the Municipal Chief Executive of the area, Mr. Ebenezer Forson Appiah, gave pictorial evidence of all developmental projects that had been completed since 2017, and projects that are currently ongoing.
He also shared his vision, plans, programmes and policies for the year 2022.

Mr. Forson revealed that the Assembly was mapping up strategies to ensure an improvement in its revenue mobilization to be able to carry out its core mandate.



The MCE lauded the participation of various stakeholders, adding that “We will have more of these stakeholders’ engagements so that together we can achieve accelerated development in our Municipality.”

The meeting brought together major key stakeholders in the Municipality.
