NPP inaugurates Akim Oda campaign team

The Akim Oda Constituency Office of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has inaugurated a 22-member campaign team for the December 7 general election.

The Eastern Regional Youth Organizer Mr. Jerry Osei - Poku, who inaugurated the team, advised members to unite and take the upcoming elections seriously and be vigilant in order not to fall into the trap of detractors who would sway them from their main objective.

He also asked them to carry out vigorous campaigns to ensure that Mr. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, the parliamentary candidate for the party, retains the seat for the Party.

On his part, Mr. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, co- chairman of the campaign team, pleaded with the team to show total commitment to their mandate and promised to work with them to ensure that they achieved the ultimate goal of retain the party in power in 2021.

The Member of Parliament for Akim Oda constituency Mr. William Agyapong Quaitoo, said the campaign team was composed with the aim of presenting unity among themselves, adding that “this issue of skirt and blouse voting should not happen in Akim Oda constituency.”

Guest speaker, Senior Minister, Mr. Yaw Osarfo Marfo implored the members of the committee to discharge their mandate diligently in spearheading the party’s campaign in its stronghold.

He added that, the NPP has achieved a lot of excellence and Ghanaians must be informed. Mr. Marfo also told members of the party to go out and campaign to retain the NPP in power.
