Pusiga gets new assembly office complex

A new assembly office complex has been handed over to the management of the Pusiga District Assembly in the Upper East Region with about twenty-two offices, including a conference hall, kitchen, store room and lavatories.

The District Chief Executive Zubeiru Abdulai said the office complex provided to the Assembly will go a long way to help the management in keeping data on items at the assembly.

In an interview with ghanadistricts.com, the DCE said some minor defects has been identified by the Works Department, and therefore the contractor has been given a fourteen days ultimatum to fix all minor defects.

He further said there will be the need of slides for disability friendliness as well as the need to sink a mechanized borehole for the new office complex to provide constant water supply to the building.

Mr. Abdulai said at the moment, keys of the office complex has been handed over to him.

Akuffo and Associates Consultancy facilitated the start to finish of the office complex building in collaboration with Works Department of the District Assembly.
