Awutu Senya East MCE hands over motorbikes to Assembly Members

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly, Anita Love Obo Amissah, has presented nineteen (19) brand new motorbikes to all Assembly Members and Government Appointees in the area.

According to the MCE, the relief packages form part of government’s initiatives through the Local Government and Decentralization Ministry headed by Hon. Daniel Kweku Botwe, to ensure that Assembly Members across the country carry out their responsibilities effectively.

Jones Kwarteng, the presiding member, led the Assembly Members to express their gratitude to His Excellency the President and the MCE for championing the task of acquiring the motorbikes which will fast track the day-to-day activities of the Assembly members.

He reminded the Members on the need to ensuring punctuality at the assembly at all times to represent their respective communities.
