Assembly Partner Sanitation Ghana Movement to Clean Kasoa

The Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly under the Leadership of Madam Anita Love Obo Amissah has partnered Sanitation Ghana Movement to do a massive cleanup exercise at Kasoa.

This partnership was part of the initiative of the MCE, to work hand in hand with the stakeholders in the environment and sanitation sector to ensure that the municipality becomes the cleanest in the central region.

The exercise took off at 6:00 a.m at Kasoa Overpass where traders together with Sanitation Ghana Movement member’s dissilted choked gutters and swept the shoulders of the road.

The MCE, commended Sanitation Ghana Movement for helping the Assembly to make Kasoa clean and was full of praise for traders who willingly joined the exercise.

She appealed to the general public to refrain from dumping refuse into gutters and drains because the Assembly is not going to countenance such behaviors.
