Kasoa-Ofaakor - Amuzukope road progresses

Construction works on the Ofaakor Junction through Alico to Amuzukope road in the Awutu Senya East Municipality is earnestly ongoing to bring the nneded relief to motorists and the communities along the road.

The 3.7km road works with drainage and culverts was lobbied by the Member of Parliament for the area, Mavis Hawa Koomson. The project forms part of the government’s major road initiative dubbed ‘Year of roads’ target at improving road networks across the country.

Meanwhile, the contractor, Big Dreams Construction Firm has assured that the first bitumen and asphalting of the road would be completed by the end of the year.

Meanwhile, residents along the area cannot wait to have the whole road completed as it remains a major concern to them.
