DCE presents furniture to schools

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Saboba, George Kitingyaab Bingrini has presented 300 Metal fabricated dual desks to the Ghana Education Service for onward distribution to 11 basic schools in the District.

The Ghana Education Service was represented by Mr. Charles Nyoja, Deputy Director responsible for Planning, Mr. Mattew Tingbanki, District Public Relations Officer and Madam Mary Lamani, District Stores Keeper.

Mr. George urged Officers of Ghana Education Service to ensure that the desks are used for its intended purpose and properly maintained.

Since, 2017 the District Assembly has invested a lot of its resources in education by way of building classroom blocks, renovation of dilapidated classroom blocks, renovation of boys' dormitories, building of administration block, provision of streetlights in all the second cycle institutions and some basic schools in the district.

The Ghana Education Service representative Mr. Charles Nyoja commended the District Assembly for being real collaborators in the district.

He promised they will keep and maintain the furniture well for other generations to benefit.
