He urged the District Directorate of Education to ensure that the desks are used for their intended purpose and properly maintained. He further said since 2017, the District Assembly has invested a lot of its resources in education by way of building classroom blocks, renovation of dilapidated classroom blocks, renovation of boys' dormitories, building of administration block, provision of streetlights in all the second cycle institutions and some basic schools in the District.

He mentioned beneficiary schools for this items to include Wandamdo D.A Primary School, Biwado, Primary School, Garimata D.A Primary School, Nankpanboni No. 1 D.A Primary School, Nakpar, R.C Primary School, Bukob D.A Primary School, Demon D.A Primary and  Kuntul R.C Primary School.

Receiving the desks on behalf of the Headteachers, the District Director of Education, and Mr. Awuah Hayford thanked the District Chief Executive and the Saboba District Assembly for their continuous support towards education in the District. He promised the furniture will be well kept and maintained for other generations to benefit.

The District Director of Education was accompanied by his frontline Officers. While the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Seidu Abdul Aziz supported the District Chief Executive.
