The Chief made the appeal during a courtesy visit to the Northern Regional Minister, Mr. Ali Adolf John, at the Northern Regional Coordinating Council in Tamale.
Mr. Ali Adolf welcomed the visit and urged the people of Saboba to make education a priority, describing it as a key driver of transformation and poverty reduction.
He assured the delegation of the government's commitment to initiating and completing development projects in the district, noting that such investments would create jobs, improve livelihoods and expand access to essential services.
The Paramount Chief commended President John Dramani Mahama for appointing Mr Ali Adolf and praised ongoing development projects in Saboba, particularly the construction of the Wapuli Bridge, which he said would improve connectivity and boost economic activity.
He said establishing a college of education or another tertiary institution in Saboba would bring higher education closer to residents, help retain young people in the area and create new economic opportunities.
The traditional authority pledged its support for the Regional Minister and the government's development agenda, while reaffirming its commitment to peace and unity.
Both leaders expressed optimism that continued collaboration would help build a peaceful, inclusive and prosperous Saboba.
