ASIKUMA O B: Assembly account to the press

The Asikuma-Odoben–Brakwa district recently held its first Meet the Press on the theme: “The Akufo Addo Governance Impact" at Asikuma the District capital under the watch of the District Chief Executive, Mr. Isaac Odoom.

The programme was designed to account to the people in the district on the projects, programs and activities undertaken within the year and to also collect people’s views for future development.

Addressing the media, Mr. Odoom said, most of the developmental projects centered on education amenities, health, environmental as well as support to persons with disability PWDS).

In addition, their major challenges in the district has been their road networks, and they have put the necessary measures in place to deal with poor roads network in the district.

According to him, the directive is to ensure that Development Communication plays a major role in the national agenda.

The Regional Minister, for the Central Region Mr. Kwamena Duncan applauded the Assembly for their good work.
