MCE donates PPEs to Ghana Prison Service
The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly has handed over boxes of face marks and hand sanitizers to the Ghana Prison Service in the Municipality.

The donation formed part of efforts by the Assembly to encourage adherence to the covid 19 safety protocols amid the increasing cases of the diseases.
It also sought to intensify public education on the viral disease by promoting behavioral change in practices that serves as fertile grounds for infections.
Madam. Comfort Asante, mentioned that the donation is to recognize the key security role of the Ghana Prison Service during the pandemic.
She added that it is very necessary to intensify public education campaigns, following the rising cases this month. We are providing this Personal Protection Equipment to encourage the Ghana Prison Service to observe the protocols to curb the spread of the covid 19 in the Municipality.
The Ghana Prison Service Officer, Mr. Pascal Aboagye, expressed his gratitude to the MCE for the kind gesture and said the face marks would help assists the prison officers to curb the COVID-19 in the Municipality he also added that the MCE has always come to their assistance anytime the need arises.
