ATWIMA KWANWOMA: Chief of Yabi calls on DCE

The newly installed chief of Yabi, a community in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region, Nana Kwame Frimpong Ankontonmere Ababio II paid a courtesy call on Nana Okyere Tawiah Antwi, District Chief Executive of Atwima Kwanwoma

His visit was to formally introduce himself and discuss developmental matters for the community and the district at large.

Welcoming the chief, the DCE expressed optimism that land litigation that has deprived the Yabi Community would be resolved to pave way for the community to receive its share of development.

He called on Nana Akontonmere to collaborate with the Assembly to ensure developments in the community, adding however that, development can only be made possible when proper layout of land are prepared and those earmark for development are made available to the Assembly as soon as possible.



He highlighted some of the developmental projects he has done for the community such as CHPS compound, re-roofing of three unit classroom block and 62nd independence day anniversary.

Nana Frimpong Ababio II in his remarks thanks the DCE and his staff for the hard work for Yabi community and the District at large. He expressed his support for the District for the total development of the district.

Nana Akontonmere disclosed that being a peaceful person, he will not condone any land litigation issues in the community, and assured that he will soon make available his development plan to the community and the Assembly.
