Date Created : 8/12/2025 12:00:00 AM : Story Author : Afia Obeng Yeboah/ Ghanadistricts.com
The publication, launched in February 2026, is intended to provide residents and other stakeholders with a formal account of the Assembly’s stewardship during its first year in office.
According to the Assembly, the journal is designed to promote transparency, accountability and collective development, rather than serve as a platform for individual praise. It seeks to highlight the contributions of various stakeholders and document the progress made across the district.
The first edition features key achievements and administrative reforms undertaken by the Assembly, including the refurbishment of the District Administration Block, among other development initiatives.
Presenting the publication, Mrs. Grace Agyemang Asamoah, the first female DCE of Atwima Kwanwoma, emphasized the importance of documenting the Assembly’s work and keeping residents informed about development activities and administrative reforms.
The quarterly journal is expected to serve as an important communication tool between the Assembly and residents, providing regular updates on projects, policies, reforms and other initiatives being implemented in the district.
The launch also underscores the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring that residents are adequately informed about how resources are being utilised and the progress being made in addressing the development needs of Atwima Kwanwoma.
The “Atwima Kwanwoma In Focus” is expected to be published quarterly, providing continued documentation of the Assembly’s programmes, achievements and development priorities.
