Assembly holds Fourth General Assembly Meeting

The Akrofuom District Assembly has held their fourth general Assembly meeting to deliberate on matters concerning the Assembly.

The Presiding Member Mr. Peter Amponsah also eulogized the hard work of the management of the Assembly and called on all the Assembly Members to play their part to support the management to bring development into the district.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr. Maurice John Woode took the opportunity to address the house on the development that has transpired in the district for the past months.

He noted that the Assembly has not forgotten its core duty to provide physical infrastructure and as a result, he will make sure that all abandoned projects will be completed to benefit the people adding that there are a lot of developmental projects that will soon be rolled out across the district.

Mr. Woode said the security situation in the district is high on his agenda for the district because he believes that the safety of the people should not be compromised.

He then appealed to the Assembly members and nananom to join hands and ensure there is peace in the district.
