Hairdressers receive equipment to enhance and improve quality of their work

The Akrofuom District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr. Maurice Jonas Woode has given out equipment to over 40 hairdressers and beauticians to enhance their businesses and improve the quality of their job.

Presenting the items on behalf of the Member of Parliament for the constituency Mr. Alex Blankson, the DCE congratulated the beneficiaries and admonished them to make good use of the items.

He added that the government through the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has other programs that are intended to make them prosper in life and will soon be rolled out to them; and also urged them to add quality to their work in order to woo more customers to their end.

The president for the local chapter of Akrofuom National Association of Hairdressers and Beauticians (NAB), Miss Cecilia Akko was full of praise for the Member of Parliament and the Assembly for the gesture and assured that the beneficiaries will make good use of the items at their workplaces and will not compromise on its quality usage.

The District officer for Ghana Enterprise Agency (Business Advisory Center), Mr. Kelvin Ofori Atta also admonished them to be judicious in their trade.
