First-ever classroom block commissioned at Aboagykrom

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Akrofuom, Maurice Jonas Woode has commissioned a 3-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities for the people of Aboagykrom.

The DCE in his address indicated that the construction of the first-ever classroom block in the community is in line with the government’s policy to enhance accessibly, equity, and inclusion to ensure a standard educational policy for all school-going children, adding that children of Aboagykrom will no longer walk miles to Adamso and Fenaso Nkwanta to attend school.

He said the building should be seen as a property of the community and not of the Assembly or the government, hence its maintenance must be first and foremost the priority of the community.

Mr. Woode urged parents to show interest in their children especially when it comes to education because knowledge is better than wealth.
