DCE gives computers to support district ICT Center

The Akrofuom Districts Assembly led by the District Chief Executive Maurice Jonas Woode has continued with the quest to promote ICT education in the District.

Mr Maurice Jonas Woode has spearheaded the distribution of desktops, laptops and computer accessories to schools in the district.

The DCE, through a German-based Labdoo, has previously distributed 32 desktops and laptops to some schools in the District as well as Obuasi Senior High Technical School.

Mr. Woode has once again donated 9 desktops and 2 laptops to the Districts Center at the Akrofuom R/C JHS to add to the pool of computers in the center.

This, he said, is a demonstration of the Assembly’s unwavering support towards making ICT an important subject in the district.

“We are focused on making the teaching and learning of ICT easier among teachers and students in the districts", he added.
