New Juaben N: 1,450 candidates sit for BECE exams

About one Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty (1,450) Candidates from 103 Basic Schools in the New Juaben North Municipality on Monday 15th November, 2021 commenced the Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE).

The candidates were from (61) sixty one public and (45) private schools respectively, made up of 712 males and 738 females who sat for this year’s BECE.

An entourage led by the Municipal Chief Executive, Madam Comfort Asante toured all the four exams centres within the Municipality and advised the candidates to read through the questions thoroughly before shading the correct answers.


The MCE urged all the students to answer what the questions demands but not what they think will be the answer.

She also encouraged them to eschew any fear and face the exams with dedication and commitment, so as to see their dreams come through to make their parents and the government proud.


The Municipal Director for Education, Madam Beverly Bartels, on her part, encouraged the students to be confident and rather not entertain fear during the exam period.


“You are the future leaders of this country and your journey to greatness and a successful life begins now so make the most of it”, she stressed.
