Dadease Akotosu gets new mechanized borehole
Dadease Akotosu is one of the communities in the Sekyere Kumawu District that had undergone teething challenges accessing potable drinking water since the existence of the community.

However, through the intervention of Nana Konadu Boakyewa, a philanthropist and indigene of the town but resident abroad, a mechanized borehole worth GHs30.000.00 has been constructed for the community.
Speaking to the press, the Assembly Member for the community, George Boakye, a.k.a Nanaba who spearheaded the construction of the mechanized borehole eulogised the financier of the project for providing a good drinking water for the town.
According to him, a lot of social amenities are needed - "Absence of toilet facility and classroom block doesn't speak well of the town therefore NGOs and the government must intervene," he lamented.
