Akufo-Addo terminates appointment of Akuapim North MCE

Ghana’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has terminated the appointment of Mr. Dennis Edward Aboagye, Akuapim North Municipal Chief Executive with immediate effect.

This was revealed in a statement signed and issued by the Minster for Local Government and Rural Development, Hajia Alima Mahama.

The statement however, did not reveal the reasons behind the dismissal of the young MCE who was appointed in 2017.

Meanwhile, the President, is expected announced his successor soon to help steer affairs of the Assembly.
