MMDCEs vow to support government's transformation agenda

“We shall be true representatives at the local level delivery, good governance and create an enabling clean environment that is sustainable”.
Speaking at the third day of the orientation under the theme: creating prosperity and equal opportunities for all through effective decentralization”, the MCE assured the president of their collective resolve to make Ghana work again.
In a speech to welcome the President, the MCE bemoaned the difficult financial legacy most assemblies have inherited, the varied needs and expectations of their indigenes as well as their collective resolve to succeed as part of the challenges assemblies are be deviled with.
The MCE was hopeful that the orientation programme will retool them for the task ahead as it enlightens them for their scope to work.
He however, appealed to the central government to help salvage their debt situations whiles expressing gratitude to the president for their opportunity to serve as his representatives in the various MMDAs.
