According to the community dwellers, they have lived in total darkness for many years without electricity making them victims to frequent snake bites and exposure to activities of thieves.
In a letter addressed to the Municipal Chief Executive for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, on behalf of the community, a resident of the area, George Ampofo Ayeh noted that lack of connectivity to electricity and water have affected them negatively and also contributed to the underdevelopment of the area.
Economic activity in the area is at standstill, as there is no light while residents especially women and children walk several kilometres in search for water for their livelihood.
The residents expressed the hope that the current government will come to their aid as a matter of urgency since similar appeal to the former government did not see the light of day.
The Ahodjo-Ketewa dwellers also assured of their maximum cooperation with the Assembly to resolve their challenges.
