EJURA: MCE urges BECE candidates to comport themselves at home

Mr. Mohammed Salisu Bamba, the Municipal Chief Executive of the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipal Assembly has reminded this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination candidates of the need to pass well to benefit from the free senior high school education.

He said the president is committed to implementing the policy to give opportunity to a lot of JHS graduates to access SHS and the only thing that they need is to perform well become beneficiaries. 

The MCE was advising candidates of this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination when he toured the exam centres.

He urged them to refrain from all forms of examination malpractices and encouraged them to do best and score good grades.

He advised them to comport themselves while at home especially staying away from social vises as the BECE is only a first step, while the real battle lies ahead of them.

The MCE who was accompanied by the Municipal Education Director and some staff from the assembly visited some of the examination centres including anyinasu and Sekyedumase Senior High School.
