The donation was made as a result of lack of computers in the school, which has made learning of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) difficult and uncomfortable for both pupils and teachers.

In an interview with ghanadistricts.com, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ejura-Sekyedumase in the Ashanti Region, Mohammed Salisu Bamba disclosed that Betenase M/A Primary teachers devised a strategy, which was to draw the font of a computer on the blackboard for the pupils to be able to learn ICT.

He said that though an ICT centre has been built at Sekyedumase which would benefit surrounding communities including Anyinasu, the place has not been furnished yet.

Mr. Bamba went further to say that Ejura-SekyeDumase Municipal was the first in Ashanti Region and third in Ghana after the 2017 Basic Education Certificate Exam (BECE).

He therefore commended in particular, management of NIIT for the support for the school and also extended his praise to the teachers in the municipality for their good work especially when they have to improvise just to help the students understand what they teach.

He encouraged the pupil to learn very well to become responsible children in future.
