Assembly campaigns on wearing of face mask

The Gomoa Central assembly has intensified on wearing of face mask campaign to curb the spread of the coronavirus infections in the district.

The District Chief Executive of the area Benjamin Kojo Otoo noted that the assembly in collaboration with the Member of Parliament in the area Naana Eyiah has distributed face masks to the communities to be given out.

He interacted with the market women and encouraged them of wearing the mask, and added that the government is doing its possible best to minimize the spreading of the virus.

Mr.Otoo pleaded with them to adhere to the protocols, being washing of hands, the regular use of the hand sanitizer, social distancing, and wearing of the face mask.

He further said apart from the assemblies COVID-19 Risks management team, the Member of Parliament has also set up COVID-19 Community Education Team to ensure compliance of the protocol and lauded her towards the immense contribution towards the fight against the pandemic.
