The MCE who visited the Abisim community, with a delegation from the Life Water Inc., USA to check the progress of the six-unit classroom block under construction, was sad at the state in which teachers and students of Suhum-Abisim M/A Primary School teach and learn.

She also thanked Pastor Cheri-Anne, and the Life Water Inc., USA for funding the construction of the school block and other infrastructural works in the Suhum-Abisim community.

She said, in addition to the six-unit classroom block, her group will also make provisions for teachers’ common room, a computer lab, a library, a store and cafeteria. She added that she is also making arrangements for solar panels and electricity to facilitate teaching and learning.
The Mankrado of Suhum-Abisim, Nene Nagei thanked Ms. Cherri-Anne for the kind gesture and assured that the Abisim community will also embark on communal labour to support the project.
