The MCE said he sees his appointment as a responsibility to address challenges confronting the people he serve and will remained focused to achieving that.

According to him, like the President’s promise of “One district, One factory”, he will be following the same trend of “one electoral area, one project” to ensure equitable distribution of projects.

He said the situation where projects are concentrated in just few areas denying other communities of benefiting from the resources of the assembly must not be allowed to continue any longer.

Mr. Agbenorwu said he would want to be remembered as someone who is proactive, listens and responds quickly to addressing challenges.

This, he said means creating a cordial atmosphere for all to feel free to put their ideas on the table.

He added that some challenges have already been brought to his attention, and he has started consultations to have them addressed.
