KETU N: 29 PWDs receive support
Twenty-nine persons with disabilities in the Ketu North Municipality have received start-up packages from the Assembly.

Various items meant to economically empower them including cassava milling machine, machetes, boots, Napsa sprayer were given out to the beneficiaries. Others also received equipment like wheel chair and among others to aid their movement.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Anthony Avorgbedor in company of the Social Welfare Director presented the items to the people.
Mr. Avorgbedor assured PWDs that government is committed to improving their living conditions hence the items which are procured with funds from the three percent allocation of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) meant for taking care of welfare of persons with disabilities.
He advised the beneficiaries to put the items into good use and strive hard to be self-reliant.
