His appeal is to help reduce congestion situations in the Senior High School.

Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com, the soft-spoken DCE stated that, the recent introduction of the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy by  government has resulted in increased in enrollment level thereby resulting in congestion  in some classrooms and dormitories of the school.

The Free SHS policy is a Government of Ghana initiative started by the Akuffo-Addo administration in September 2017.

The policy had been a major campaign policy prior to the election of President Akuffo-Addo in 2016 and was aimed at making secondary education in Ghana absolutely free.

The policy, since its implementation in September 2017, is said to have  saved the education of at least 100,000 students who would have stayed home or dropped out because of the poor financial status of their parents.

The DCE, who further touched on the need to sustain this all-importance policy by the government, called on private persons and organizations to support the assembly in its bid to expand infrastructure in the school by putting up more classrooms and dormitories to help accommodate the excess number of students.
